Repair & Replacement

Fix It Right or Replace It Right.

We'll tell you honestly whether your concrete needs repair or replacement — and then we'll do the work properly either way.

Repair Services

What We Fix

Crack Repair

Routing and sealing of control cracks, structural crack injection, and surface crack patching to prevent moisture infiltration and further damage.

Surface Restoration

Resurfacing worn, scaled, or spalled concrete surfaces. We apply bonding agents and overlays to bring old concrete back to life at a fraction of replacement cost.

Structural Fixes

Repairing heaved, sunken, or undermined concrete sections. We address the root cause — not just the symptom.

Joint Replacement

Failed expansion and control joints allow water and debris infiltration. We remove and reseal joints to restore their function.

Section Replacement

When individual sections are too far gone, we remove and repour just those sections — matching the finish and grade of the surrounding concrete.

Free Assessment

Not sure if you need repair or replacement? We'll come out, assess your concrete honestly, and give you the most cost-effective recommendation.

Don't Wait Until Small Cracks Become Big Problems

Early repair is always cheaper than replacement. Schedule your free assessment today.

Honest Assessment First — Always

We don't push replacement when repair is the right call. Before we recommend anything, we assess the extent of damage, identify the root cause, and give you a straight answer on whether repair or replacement makes more economic sense for your situation.

DFW's clay soil causes most of the concrete problems we see — expansion, contraction, and differential settlement that heaves slabs and opens joints. We address the underlying soil condition when it's the root cause, not just the surface symptom.

  • Free on-site assessment for repair vs. replacement decisions
  • Written report on damage extent and recommended approach
  • No upselling — we recommend what's right for your situation
  • Licensed structural assessment available for foundation concerns

Crack Repair — Routing, Sealing, and Injection

Not all cracks are equal. Hairline surface cracks from normal concrete shrinkage are cosmetic. Control joint cracks are expected and can be sealed. Structural cracks that move or widen under load need different treatment.

We route and seal non-structural cracks with flexible polyurethane or epoxy sealants, properly sized for the crack width. For structural cracks, we use epoxy injection to restore load transfer across the joint. Both approaches stop moisture infiltration and prevent further deterioration.

  • Polyurethane routing and sealing for surface and joint cracks
  • Epoxy injection for structural crack repair
  • Carbon fiber staples for stabilizing active cracks
  • Waterproof membrane application over repaired areas

Resurfacing and Section Replacement

When the surface is spalled, scaled, or worn but the underlying slab is sound, resurfacing is a cost-effective option. We apply bonding agents and polymer-modified overlays that bond to the existing concrete and provide a fresh, durable surface.

When individual sections have heaved, cracked through, or been undermined, we remove and repour just those panels — matching the finish, slope, and grade of the surrounding concrete so the repair blends in.

  • Micro-topping and resurfacing overlays (1/8" to 1/2" thick)
  • Selective section removal and repour to match existing
  • Color-matched finishes for residential repairs
  • ADA-compliant slope correction on repaired sections

Got Questions?

Concrete Repair FAQ — DFW

How do I know if my concrete needs repair or replacement?

If cracking is surface-level and the slab is still level and stable, repair is usually the right call. If sections have heaved more than 1 inch, if there's significant undermining or soil erosion beneath, or if more than 30% of the surface is damaged, replacement is usually more cost-effective. We assess for free.

Can you match the finish of my existing concrete?

We get close but not perfect — new concrete cures lighter than aged concrete. Section replacements will show some color variation initially and blend better over time (1–2 years). We'll show you what to expect before we start.

How long does concrete repair last?

Properly executed crack sealing and resurfacing lasts 5–10 years depending on traffic, UV exposure, and soil conditions. Section replacements last as long as the original concrete — 20–30 years with proper care.

Does concrete repair affect property value?

Cracked and damaged concrete hurts curb appeal and raises buyer concerns. Repaired or replaced concrete — especially driveways and patios — has a strong return on investment in DFW's competitive real estate market.

Do you repair concrete for insurance claims?

Yes. We provide written documentation of damage scope, cause, and repair scope for insurance claims. We've worked with most major carriers operating in Texas.
